Shielding in Scotland is being 'paused', coming into effect from the 1st August. Those with serious health conditions are being encouraged to resume something close to normal life. Some shielders, like journalist Sanjeev Mann, are reluctant to go back to normal life. Sanjeev has been looking at the effect that lifting shielding is having on those who have been in isolation, and how they鈥檒l each be adapting to the 'new normal'.
