PMDD: Scottish women share their experiences
Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) is a hidden condition, which has devastated the lives of women and can trigger suicidal thoughts.
It affects an estimated one in 20 women causing feelings of being out of control, mood swings, anxiety and depression.
As part of research carried out by The Nine, 350 Scottish women shared their experiences of the condition.
The Nine's Franchesca Hashemi has been speaking to some of them.
