'The adoption of a form of foreign agent registration might be very useful'

Grant Shapps discusses possible new security laws in the wake of the Russia report

Ministers are considering strengthening security laws after a report by MPs said the government had "badly underestimated" the threat of Russian interference to the UK. The Transport Secretary Grant Shapps told Martha Kearney a new law requiring foreign agents to register in the UK was being looked at. He went on to say: "What that does is make it easier if someone is then found and they failed to register to, for example, extradite them."
