What will the long term impact be of Hong Kong's security law?
The fall out from the introduction of China's new national security law in Hong Kong is continuing with the Chinese video-sharing firm TikTok pulling its service from the territory. Other social media companies have said they have 'paused' their cooperation with police there.
In her weekly press conference, Chief Executive Carrie Lam said the new law would be "vigorously implemented" and warned so-called "radicals" not to cross the "red line" or they would face serious consequences.
But what does that actually mean? One democracy activist in Hong Kong is Lee Cheuk Yan.
"If they begin to cleanse the internet there will be more companies maybe withdrawing, with lots of countries all over the world wanting to take over from Hong Kong as the Asian financial hub."
