Opposition activist: Why I fled Hong Kong
A Hong Kong pro-democracy leader says he's left the territory to make sure the opposition can continue to advocate and campaign abroad.
After the introduction of China's tough new security law which threatens imprisonment for those who speak out against the state, books by activists were removed from Hong Kong's library shelves.
Nathan Law, who's now in an undisclosed location, told us it wasn't just fear of retribution that led him to leave Hong Kong.
"This is more than a personal move, it's a strategic move... we need someone on the intentional level who is a public figure to speak up for Hong Kong people."
