Happy
Hayley Pearce embarks on a boot camp for the brain to see if she can train herself to see the brighter side of life and be a happier Hayley.
Hayley Pearce reckons she鈥檚 got a lot to be thankful for. She has got a great social life, is happy at work and comes from a very loving family. So why does she still have so many down days when nothing feels right?
As someone who struggles with anxiety, she also finds that the negative voice inside her head telling her she鈥檚 not good enough can be overwhelming. And she鈥檚 not alone: reportedly, UK millennials are the unhappiest in the whole of Europe, with young people now dreading the future. So, with our brains naturally wired to see the negative side of life, can Hayley train her brain to see the bright side?
To kick-start her brain training, Hayley and her mates get the happy hormones buzzing with a yoga class with a difference, and she gives herself and others a boost by taking part in some random acts of kindness. She also meets former actress Holly Matthews, an extraordinary young woman who has found happiness despite terrible tragedy. So, with this boot camp for the brain, can Hayley become a happier Hayley?
