Study suggests coronavirus may affect the brain.
A study of patients treated in UK hospitals during the acute phase of the Covid-19 pandemic has found a range of neurological and psychiatric complications that may be linked to the disease.
The research, published in the Lancet Psychiatry journal suggests medics should watch out for signs of altered mental state in Covid-19 patients.
The lead author of the study is Dr Benedict Michael from the University of Liverpool.
