Nine-year-old: ‘Racism is everywhere’

A nine-year-old boy from Northern Ireland has spoken about the racism he has experienced.

TJ, who lives in Londonderry, told Stephen Nolan he “couldn’t go outside for a day” after being racially abused when he was seven.

“This is a white country and you mainly only see white people, and when you’re a black person here you really feel like you don’t belong”, he said.
