It offers a ground-breaking insight into the history of British tattooing. Featuring over 400 original artworks, photographs and historic artefacts, it tells a story that challenges the most deeply-held myths and pre-conceptions about tattooing.
From the place Captain Cook and Charles Darwin鈥檚 voyages have in British tattoo history to modern influences, it features rare exhibits of key British tattoo art rescued by private collectors and hyper-realistic silicone artwork, commissioned to assist the tattoo historians of the future.
