In England from Monday people will be able to meet in a group of up to six, outdoors and retaining social distancing. In Wales the new 'stay local' message from Monday will also allow different households to meet and in Scotland and Northern Ireland changes to the restrictions have already come in. There are variations in the precise rules and dates in the four nations. It is clear though how present the virus still is, on Tuesday in England 475 people were hospitalised with Covid-19.
