Episode 2
Sam and Shauna cook up a duck feast as they work with the Chinese community in Bangor to invent a spectacular fusion of Southern-style cooking with Asian ingredients.
Sam and Shauna head north to discover the Chinese community who have made Bangor their home. While it may not be the first place that springs to mind when you think of Asian culture, the Chinese population here is long established and thriving.
To cook duck for 100 people at the Big Cook Out, Sam and Shauna call on their metalworker friend Mike to help them design and build a unique bicycle-powered rotisserie! Using this human-powered machine, they hope to cook a dozen whole ducks over a period of several hours. The locals put on an impressive display of music and a traditional lion dance as they perform for the public on the high street in the heart of Bangor.
