Karina Leblanc: 'I couldn't see my baby daughter for two weeks'
Former Canadian goalkeeper Karina Leblanc gave birth to her baby daughter last month, but was separated from her for two weeks due to fears over COVID-19. Karina was rushed to hospital shortly after giving birth to her daughter, Paris, due to shortness of breath. Due to possible exposure to coronavirus at the hospital, she then had to self-isolate away from her newborn baby for two weeks.
Karina tells Sportshour about her terrifying hospital ordeal, the difficulty of being away from her daughter and how social media helped her through it.
