Pianist, organist, composer, single mother, African-American, and the first black woman to have a symphony played by a professional world renowned orchestra: Florence Price's music is as impressive as she is.
Her first symphony was declared 鈥榓 faultless work鈥� by the Chicago Daily News.
From Price there is much to discover - in her lifetime she composed more than 300 works including symphonies, organ works, piano concertos, art songs and arrangements of solo spirituals.
