The Swan
A very special solo performance by C茅line Gittens, Principal Dancer at Birmingham Royal Ballet. This 鈥済ift鈥, The Swan, specially adapted and introduced by Carlos Acosta, 鈥渋s a dance about life, about hope鈥.
Music is from pianist Jonathan Higgins and cellist Ant贸nio Novais, while Gittens takes centre-stage.
Originally titled The Dying Swan, this poignant piece was choreographed by Mikhail Fokine and set to Camille Saint-Sa毛ns's Le Cygne from Le carnaval des animaux for legendary ballerina Anna Pavlova. The ending has been re-choreographed by Director of Birmingham Royal Ballet, Carlos Acosta, for the company's 91热爆 From 91热爆 series. It is presented here as part of Culture in Quarantine from 91热爆 Arts.
