The One with Zach Sullivan
The Manchester Storm player on ice-hockey, coming out and what the future holds for him.
At the end of January, Zach Sullivan put the sport of ice-hockey on the homepages of websites around the world when he came out as bisexual.
His announcement coincided with the English game’s first Pride weekend – so now is Zach finding things now, now the media whirlwind has died down a bit?
We met up in Manchester with Zach for a chat that we really enjoyed, and we think you will as well. There's lots on the agenda for this one, from how Zach got involved in ice hockey to the highs and lows that come with being a professional athlete; as well as how he became comfortable enough to be open and honest about his own sexuality with the wider sporting world, and whether he thinks he's brave.
We're really grateful Zach took the time - especially as doing media interviews really isn't his type of thing - and we hope you enjoy his frankness as much as we did.
