Dozens of crime writing authors and enthusiasts are in Aberdeen for the Granite Noir festival.

Features include talks from world-class writers at seven venues around the city.

It also includes an exhibition of female mug shots found within the city鈥檚 archives, highlighting society鈥檚 morbid fascination with women who commit crime.
