China Uighurs: What a leaked document reveals about their internment
New evidence about a crackdown on Muslim minorities in China's western province of Xianjiang has been revealed in a leaked document seen by the 91热爆. The document lists the personal details of more than 3,000 individuals, describing in intricate detail the most intimate aspects of their daily lives, and sets out details of investigations into more than 300 main individuals, in what has been described as an 'ideological witch hunt'.
Adrian Zenz, a senior fellow at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation in Washington and an expert on China's policies in Xinjiang, has seen the documents and explains the details contained in the document.
