A child's eye-view of the war in Darfur
Sudan has said it would send its former president Omar al-Bashir to the International Criminal Court in the Hague where he is facing charges of genocide linked to the war in Darfur. The allegations are that a militia known as the Janjaweed was sent in to attack tribes in Darfur.
Their brutality was witnessed and captured in the drawings of children who survived these attacks. The drawings are now on display at the Wiener Holocaust Library in London.
The curator Barbara Warnock took Dan Damon through some of the images.
