Coronavirus: How is research into the vaccine progressing?
The race is on among scientists to develop a vaccine against the new form of coronavirus.
Professor Robin Shattock, who is the scientist leading the UK's research into the vaccine at Imperial College London, says his team have made a significant breakthrough by reducing part of the normal development time to just 14 days. However, it may still be months before vaccines can be distributed to those at risk.
