Harry and Meghan: can you quit the royals?

The break-up caused by the ‘rogue royals’

Yesterday Prince Harry and Meghan announced they will be stepping back from their roles as senior royals. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their announcement on Instagram, stating that they plan to split their time between the UK and North America and want to become financially independent.
