War in Afghanistan: How do soldiers cope in long conflicts?
CJ Chivers is an author, a journalist and a former US marine. He has spent a lot of time writing about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. In his new book ‘The Fighters’, Chivers describes how these wars are taking a toll on the soldiers who have fought in combat operations which now span nearly two decades.
