Intergenerational working - how to make it a success
As life expectancy increases, the pressure is on to keep working for longer. There are financial as well as social benefits to working beyond the traditional age of retirement but there are also downsides. Prejudice against hiring older staff is quite common, but that is often down to a lack of skills and awareness says Margaret Heffernan, former CEO and management coach.
