Music for the Royal Fireworks remains one of Handel鈥檚 most famous and popular works. The suite combines solemn/military music with dances, melodic beauty, and spirited rhythms. The dress rehearsal in Vauxhall Gardens had such a large crowd (12,000) that it stopped traffic on London Bridge for three hours!
