What the Tower of London poppies designer did next
A mile-long art trail of sculptures worked on by the man behind the Tower of London poppies installation has been unveiled to represent the "future custodians of the forest".
Forest Future is a collaboration project between Cornwall-based artist Lisa Wright and renowned set-designer Tom Piper to mark the centenary of the Forestry Commission.
The installation, in Thetford Forest, Norfolk, features 10 life-sized sculptures based on classical themes.
Each of the 888,246 poppies in Piper's display represented the death of a British and Commonwealth soldier during World War One.
Piper said the art trail is to "make people really contemplate their environment" and the role trees and woodland play in that.
The artwork can be viewed in the forest landscape until the end of May 2020.
