The Children of God
Prosecutors in Scotland are seeking to extradite a man from France on child abuse charges linked to a religious cult - known as The Children of God. The sect, founded in the 1960s in America, believed that love and sex should be shared - regardless of age. They called it the Law of Love.
Allegations of systematic abuse have surrounded the cult for decades, but some followers claim it was down to individuals misinterpreting its teachings. Last year saw the first Scottish prosecution linked to the group, and Police Scotland are continuing to investigate it. Now, they're seeking another.
But what was it like to be brought up in the cult? In an exclusive interview, The Nine's Mike Farrell spoke to a brother and sister who were raised in the group.
