The Brexit puzzle
How can the PM obey the law and yet also not do what it says?
Boris Johnson says he will obey the law which says that he must seek a delay to Brexit if he doesn't get a new deal or parliament's backing for no-deal. Yet he also says Brexit will happen on October 31st. Former prime minister Sir John Major warns that the government might sidestep the law by passing an Order of Council. We hear from Mark Elliott, professor of public law at the University of Cambridge and David Gauke, justice secretary before losing the Tory whip. We also speak to International Development Secretary Alok Sharma.
