A family in Cheshire is encouraging people to join their efforts to save water by flushing their toilet less on "Mellow Yellow Mondays".
Emma Kennan, from Stockton Heath, is following the motto "if it's yellow, let it mellow" one day each week "by not flushing maybe two or three times on the morning".
"I just think if a lot of people did little things, then that can make a big difference", she said.
