Uganda launches new experimental Ebola vaccine trial
Researchers have launched an Ebola vaccine trial in the western part of the country neighbouring the Democratic Republic of Congo. It's hoped the operation will provide key information about the immune response and the safety of the vaccine. 鈥淭he trial will take about two years and will target 800 individuals, namely, health workers and frontline workers," Dr Pontiano Kaleebu, a Ugandan researcher who leads the campaign, told the 91热爆鈥檚 Newsday programme.
