New technology can detect potentially fatal kidney conditions in minutes
Artificial intelligence is being used to predict acute kidney injury. Without rapid treatment patients could end up on dialysis, need a transplant, or die. The new AI system from DeepMind Health analyses data and calculates whether someone will develop the condition up to 48 hours in advance. Today speaks to health lead at DeepMind, Dr Dominic King.
