Remembering the Blue Moon Club
Live in Cheltenham for the unveiling of a plaque to celebrate the iconic Blue Moon Club. It was only open from 1965-1967 but brought some amazing artists to the town.
Steve Kitchen is live from Cheltenham鈥檚 High Street for the unveiling of a paved plaque to celebrate the iconic Blue Moon Club. It was only open from 1965-1967 but it brought some amazing artists to the town; the likes of a young Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Elton John, Steve Winwood, Mick Fleetwood, Fontella Bass, Geno Washington plus many many more. It鈥檚 the culmination of a brilliant effort of former Blue Moon members who鈥檝e fundraised and fought for the plaque so that the club won鈥檛 be forgotten.
