'DNA' - Dynamic New Athletics
Athletics hasn't really changed much since the time of the ancient Olympics - the basics have remained the same: running, jumping and throwing.
But the European Games, currently underway in Minsk, is trying something new, altering track and field's DNA to create 'Dynamic New Athletics'.
Events will no longer take place simultaneously, instead each, one after another, will be centre stage, field events will be condensed with fewer attempts, and there will be some mixed events for men and women.
The vice president of European Athletics, Libor Varhanik and head of new business development for the governing body Marcel Wakim explained the new format to Ed Harry.
