The first Aboriginal person to become a government minister in Australia
It has been described as a historic appointment in Australia. Ken Wyatt has become the first Aboriginal person to be appointed Minister for Indigenous Affairs. This also makes him the first indigenous Australian to sit in cabinet. Newsday's Alan Kasujja spoke to Mr Wyatt and began by asking him how he's feeling about his new job.
