The government pledged to reduce the number of unemployed disabled people but has it?
At the 2015 election the government promised to reduce the number of disabled people out of work. They would halve the 'disability employment gap'. The number of unemployed disabled people is almost the same as it has been for the last five years, although more are in work. Work and Pensions Secretary Amber Rudd outlines new government plans. A Jeremy Hunt supporter, she's also asked what she thinks of his rival Boris Johnson's campaign.
