At the 2015 election the government promised to reduce the number of disabled people out of work. They would halve the 'disability employment gap'. The number of unemployed disabled people is almost the same as it has been for the last five years, although more are in work. Work and Pensions Secretary Amber Rudd outlines new government plans.
