TV documentary unpicks secret files on first Windrush Day
The first ever Windrush Day in the UK takes place on Friday the 22nd June. The idea is to celebrate the many contributions made by the Caribbean community since they arrived to Britain over 70 years ago. This community bore the brunt of a major political scandal last year which is explored in a new TV documentary.
