'My friends raised money to help me pay rent after cancer diagnosis'

You, Me and the Big C presenter Lauren Mahon has told 91热爆 Radio 5 Live how her friends raised money to help pay her rent after she was diagnosed with cancer.

Speaking to Sarah Brett, she said: "In [the] cancer world, you see these pages popping up all the time... there's a lot of people who have these crowdfunding pages and they don't get seen and they don't get the money."

"When I first got diagnosed I had a JustGiving page for my rent."
