'They asked me to get undressed to prove I was a woman'
Desiree Ellis is a retired South African women's footballer and played as a midfielder. She is a founding member of the South Africa women's national football team and the second captain of the national team.
She tells Betty Glover about living through apartheid, having to strip off to prove she is a woman because she was so good at football and what it will mean to take her country to their first every Women's World Cup.
