How is modern living changing our feet?
The industrial revolution changed everything. It brought innovation and technology, but also a physical cost to our bodies.
From spending hours on our bare feet outdoors, many of our jobs suddenly moved indoors where we began to sit down at desks in offices and drove cars. We also began to wear shoes.
Dr Vybarr Cregan-Reid talks to evolutionary biologist Dan Lieberman at Harvard University, on how our lifestyles and what we wear have changed our feet forever.
