Turnbull: Concern not that I'd lose, but I'd win

Malcolm Turnbull has described the coup that removed him from power as a "peculiarly Australian form of madness".

The 2015-18 prime minister told Politics Live's Andrew Neil that his party's concern "was not I would lose the election but rather that I would win it."

And he said the Liberal Party's current polling under leader and PM Scott Morrison is in a "worse position" than when he was in charge.
