McGowan to MJ fans: 'I'm sorry your hero was bad'
Rose McGowan has made a statement to Michael Jackson fans who continue to support him.
Speaking to 5 Live Nihal Arthanayake, the author, actor and activist said “I’m sorry that your hero was a bad man”.
She added ‘It doesn’t mean that you [Michael Jackson fans] can’t listen to and enjoy his music’.
McGowan said that she believed the subjects of a new documentary Leaving Neverland, who say Michael Jackson abused them when they were children. Jackson's family say there's "not one piece of evidence" to prove the claims.
