Penguins Galore!
Composer Laura Bowler travels to the Antarctic in search of inspiration for her music, as part of a commission by the Manchester Camerata. Penguins and the icy chilled waters feature heavily.
An immersive commentary on the effects of climate change, the music was based on this journey, and Laura gives her heartfelt thoughts along the way, as well as recording the sounds of this immense and wild landscape.
