Sudan: Diplomatic pressure on president to resign

In Sudan, there have now been more than two months of protests and 50 demonstrators have been killed. During this time, there are indications that international pressure is mounting to persuade President Omar al-Bashir to resign. What can diplomacy offer him, and will he take a deal?
