Intersex is an umbrella term used to describe people born with biological sex characteristics that don鈥檛 fit typical male or female categories.
So whilst we鈥檙e told that people are either born male or female, there are actually many intersex variations that people can be born with too.
Far from being rare, it鈥檚 something that affects thousands of people in the UK. So why don鈥檛 we talk about it? And what鈥檚 it like to be intersex?
Suz talks frankly with her sister Juliet and fellow intersex campaigner Anick and has an emotional reunion with psychologist Dr Lih-Mei Liao, who looked after her nearly a decade ago.
