Fury v Wilder rematch a ‘done deal’ but Joshua’s next bout ‘a mess’
91ȱ Radio 5 live boxing analyst Steve Bunce says talk surrounding Anthony Joshua’s next opponent has “gone quiet”.
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn says a fight with Dillian Whyte in the UK or American Jarrell Miller in New York is set be the unified world heavyweight champion’s next test. But Bunce says the negotiations for both possible bouts are “a mess”.
In contrast, the rematch between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury is an “absolute done deal” and is “nailed on” for “very late April or very early May”.
