Marie Heaney, the widow of Irish poet Seamus Heaney, reads a poem he wrote for her
The Irish author Marie Heaney read a poem her late husband, Seamus Heaney, wrote for her and St Brigid, the patron saint of Ireland. On St Brigid's Day, she and her and daughter Catherine, spoke about his love of women and poetry on the Today programme. Seamus Heaney was a famed Irish poet who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1995 and died in 2013.
