How do you move a nearly one tonne rhino from a zoo in Germany to its new home at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park – A: with the help of a lot of carrots. Keeley follows Najuma as she is coaxed into a truck, driven hundreds of miles, loaded onto a North Sea Ferry and eventually arrives in South Yorkshire. Najuma is hopefully going to be part of a breeding programme to try to protect her critically endangered species and any babies she produces with the park’s two resident males could be released into the wild in Africa.
