Ann Cleeves on why she's written her last Jimmy Perez novel
Ann Cleeves has decided to retire the character Jimmy Perez after writing eight novels starring the detective.
Speaking to 5 Live's Phil Williams, Ann said she wanted to finish "while readers are still interested in the stories and characters. I didn't want them to get bored of it."
