Does Parliamentary privilege undermine the law?
The businessman at the centre of sexual harassment and racial abuse allegations was identified yesterday as Sir Philip Green. Lord Hain used Parliamentary privilege to reveal the person the Daily Telegraph was not allowed to name because of an injunction. His accusers had signed non-disclosure agreements. Sir Philip Green categorically denies allegations of unlawful sexual or racist behaviour.
