The prime minister has appointed a suicide prevention minister in England

The government has pledged to tackle issues around mental health, including appointing a minister for suicide prevention in England. Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, told Today he knows there is 鈥渁 problem in terms of access to services鈥� for mental health, ahead of hosting an international summit for World Mental Health Day.
