Paula Johnson is an American cardiologist and champion of women's healthcare. Her work has uncovered key differences in how women and men experience disease and respond to treatment, and she's been instrumental in helping change research policy in the United States. She says medical research is only now beginning to understand why women's bodies respond differently to men.
