We often see or hear professional athletes venturing into the world of sports broadcasting when their careers come to an end.

But it's rare that professional broadcasters take up sport at the highest level.

So meet Annimari Korte, a sports journalist from Finland who has just competed at the European Athletics Championships. She chose a career in the media when a promising athletics career was cut short by injury in her teens, but now the hurdler has hopes of competing at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
